A long time ago I fell in love with photography, worked my way through several cameras upto an EOS 1N before finally scaling everything back, a passion which as with a lot of things died overtime. I still pick up the camera and you'll see the results of that throughout this blog but not with the same fervour.

Black & White

I am neither an Ansel Adams¹ nor a Bob Carlos Clarke², if only, but I developed a passion for photography, especially black & white. Over twenty years ago I dumped being a fulltime computer geek (a mistake) and dove into photography, converting a room into a full chemical based dark room.

Colour

I never really liked colour photography, always thought it became dated too quickly but i know it can have impact and power. So these a are few of my colour images, nothing special but ones i’m prepared to share. Below the gallery i’ve picked out and titled ones’s i thought deserved more detail

Life & Death - the struggle

A year or two ago i was sat in the kitchen when i heard an awful sound from the front garden, I raced to open the door and intervene unsure of what it was and there right in front of me were the two combatants literally right on the doorstep

Ansel Adams is famous for his photographs of the great american landscape (_it was these that made me want to try landscape photography) but he not only photographed landscapes but as with many great photographers was able to capture many subjects including a period in history which some try to destroy evidence of. (ref: Manzanar )

Bob Carlos Clarke known for erotica but definitely not limited to it (i tried and failed at that)
